about

The "Breaking" Single is the first offering from Deathline International’s upcoming album "Pax Americana".

"Hiring legendary producer John Fryer [NIN, DM, 4AD,...] was probably the best decision we ever made as a band. He was able to give us the sound and texture that we have always been looking for. We feel grateful and fortunate that he agreed to work with us. His skill and expertise have elevated our music to the next level."

Lyrically "Breaking" deals with one of the darkest periods of my life. It talks about loss, sadness, and pain. The realization that one has limits of endurance, that if you can't bend you will break. It is vulnerable, angry and yet there is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.

Musically it is a tour de force - a sonic assault driven by relentless guitars and the electronic wizardry of Mr. Fryer. He was tasked to program every drum and keyboard sound and he created a layered tapestry of beautiful, crunchy mayhem that provides a lush backdrop for the Th3Count's passionate vocals.

When the Band started to talk about remixers Marc Heal / Cubanate / MC Lord of the Flies came immediately to mind. Deathline International had recently performed a show with C-Tec and was absolutely in love with his sound. His version of “Breaking” is a stripped-down dance track with clear 90ties dance roots. Effective, elegant and infectious - time to score some ecstasy and fly!

Unitcode:Machine’s Remix is a smashing hybrid of classic industrial and coldwave with an added tinge of sadness

Probe7 round out the single with a tripped-out dance version of “Breaking”
